Future vision for AdsReloaded4

Although adsReloaded is just launching I have a big vision for the company.

Currently adsReloaded is strictly in the domain of iPhone apps. The first $500 dollars in profit for the company will go towards the purchase of an iPad so that iPad apps can become a part of the non-traditional advertising adsReloaded offers. This is a logical move since the two OS's are very much alike.

Moving into the future past iPad apps I hope to expand into the following areas:

Android
Facebook
Web apps
Online Games
Blogs
Websites

While this list is certainly not set in stone I think it is the best direction for the company. Some people might call me crazy for aiming so big but why not? People don't accomplish anything great if they set their goals low.

Any comments/feedback on what you guys would like the future direction of adsReloaded.com to be?

Looks like a great road map. Good idea to expand to other devices and platforms.

Maybe the site could benefit from a blog/news page? Reviewing/highlighting certain apps and/or industry news could increase your presence in organic engine results which would help drive traffic to this site.

It really is a win-win for developers and users do whatever it takes to attract a bigger audience. Maybe start by identifying relevant bloggers and Twitter accounts? You could then add RSS feeds from these users to your main site.

Another alternative would be to crawl these blogs and news items for interesting stories and write few posts yourself. Maybe see if you can find an aspiring tech blogger/writer to help?

Excellent suggestions Mike. I was in fact wondering today how I could increase organic traffic since acquiring traffic without a major search engine ranking you high is tough, and I think these ideas will give me some direction for doing that.

I'm also currently writing to a lot of iPhone specific blogs to try and secure some posts to try and get some new users on board as well.

Also I was thinking of creating a "newsletter" for existing users to let them know about new apps on the site.

Does anyone know of any good newsletter software?

Volunteering to write a guest post at certain blogs is a great idea and would give you some very good exposure. It seems like if you can get developers on board first --- and rely on them to spread the word to their users --- it would bode well for driving traffic to your site.

For newsletter software, you could try Mail Chimp. Mail Chimp is free for small mailing lists (<500 subscribers) and reasonably priced for bigger lists.

Thanks mike. Guest posts on blogs certainly seem like an excellent plan as it is beneficial both to the blog and to adsreloaded.

Also I think that since developers have a vested interest in seeing their app campaign on adsreloaded succeed that I can hopefully leverage them at least in the beginning. I also can see the other side of the fence as an app developer where I want to outsoure my marketing as much as possible. Once adsreloaded builds up a bigger user base I hope I can have a "cannon" of users to help propel each campaign purchased.

Since your audience uses apps, how about an official AdsReloaded app? It could use push notifications and RSS to alert users of new apps, with direct links to download them.

Great suggestion NoTie. I have a rough storyboard going for an app so the process is in the works. It remains to be seen whether apple will actually approve it though.

I had a "cashback shopping" app rejected after 3 months in review about a year ago so I can't really rely on the app... but I also think an iPhone app could be one of the best ways to get more people involved. *crosses fingers*

Maybe I could make a web app as well since there is no approval process for that.... but does anyone even use web apps on the iPhone?

Good call, NoTie.

I think an Ads Reloaded app is a great idea --- and a must, at least eventually. Given the time it would take to write the app and get it approved, I'd say you're better off adding content to the site and focusing on drawing in users via the web. I'd make the site your top priority. My two cents.

I have no qualms about surfing the web on the iPhone, especially if the site is built specifically for a mobile device. A mobile version of AR could work well until the the official app is approved and released.

Yes I am working on adding a news/blog section of the site right now. In addition I also own the domains iphoneappfans.com and androidappfans.com. Nothing is up on them yet but I am currently doing my best to recruit some writers. I could provide hosting plus a wordpress site for free... all I would require would be half of the advertising space go to adsReloaded kind of as an impartial sister site.
